Appstrip Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that we gather when you are accessing or using Appstrip's Services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.

The information we gather from customers enables us to personalize and improve our services and to allow our users to set up a user account and profile that can be used to interact with other users through Appstrip's Services. We collect the following types of information from our customers:

A. Personal Information You Provide to Us

In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

D. Communication About Appstrip's Services

As part of Appstrip's Services, you may receive communications from us, whether by email or other means. We may send you email, contact you, or engage you in other communication that is related to your use of Appstrip's Services.

E. Promotional Offers

We may send offers to certain users on behalf of other businesses. However, when we do so, we do not give the other business your name and address. If you do not wish to receive these offers, please unsubscribe to these communications via the link at the bottom of such communications.

F. Business Transfers

We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. You may be able to add or update certain information as explained in Section V above. When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records. We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our client for as long as needed provide services to our client. We will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your certain of your Personal Information by sending an e-mail to support@appstrip.com. We will respond to your request within 30 business days.

If you do not wish to receive email or other mail from us, please contact us at support@appstrip.com. Please note that if you do not want to receive legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Website, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes.

You can log in to the blog on our site using sign-in services such as Facebook Connect or an Open ID provider. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form. Services like Facebook Connect give you the option to post information about your activities on this Web site to your profile page to share with others within your network.

With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. Our Web site offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our website or sending you an email.
